Millmead Hall is now managed by Milton Keynes Sea cadets & Royal Marines Cadets, our lease commenced in September 2025 and for the next 25 years Millmead Hall will be the home of T.S Whadddon.
Milton Keynes Sea Cadets is a registered charity formed in 1984, and based out of a Milton Keynes Community Foundation warehouse unit in Kiln Farm for the bulk of our 40 years. With plans to refurbish and re-develop their Kiln Farm estate due to energy certificate requirements, it provided an opportunity for the trustees to evaluate a number of location opportunities across Milton Keynes.

The timely Community Asset Transfer of Millmead Hall from Milton Keynes City Council to Wolverton & Greenleys Council enabled a conversation to be had around us moving into & taking over the management of the community facility in partnership with the parish council.
The vision is to continue use by the local community, and extend the Drill Hall’s long association with the armed forces.
We’re a wholly volunteer based organisation, like many of our community users, so we’re sensitive to the needs of similar community orientated organisations.
We’re very much looking ahead to completing our move into Millmead hall over the coming months, and continuing to support as many of the existing user community as we can.
